Since 2010 the shop Schmaach ëm de séi a méi works together with local and regional producers of Luxembourg, to raise awareness of heritage and cultural values ​​of Luxembourg and to show another image of this small country. We respect each other's work and export their expertise through our shop that brings together a bakery-food shop and a shop for decoration. We work primarily with local and regional artisans whether for decoration or food.

Traditional Christmas market in Luxembourg City

Each year in December, the traditional Christmas market in Luxembourg-City transforms the Place d'Armes, the Place de la Constitution and the Place de Paris into a true Christmas village.
For nearly a month, in the main square of the capital small wooden huts are built for selling candles, toys, decorations, candy, as well as typical drinks such as Glühwäin (warm wine) and the typical foods such as Lëtzebuerger Grillwurscht, the Mettwurscht (Luxembourg sausage) or Gromprekichelchen (potato pancakes).
